Religious Mishap by Roshni
My habit was inspired by blades,
Their shiny slick edges...
It was
My religion, my inspiration,
My scars,
My misery and most of all
My life.
I am my own god,
I had control over everything
My cuts, my feelings, my hurt,
My stream of blood,
My hate towards them,
My blades, my pills
Until I left this world,
But I wasn't in control
Suicide
My delivery of a final message
A good-bye note left
After the act was completed
I had to kill the pain,
Regardless of the consequences
They told me it was a
State of confusion,
But I was in a netherworld where
I was neither strong nor focused enough
To make another attempt of life
So I am here, a religious mishap.
