Back in the Playground
by Gabrielle

I felt my way along the crowd again
That I was among
This was another day of my dreadful life
Everthing is small as a footstep
Seemed to be large as an echo in a dark,
Dreary everlasting cave without a way out

It must have been the dangerous silence
For I felt empty of happiness and joy
But full of fright, hate and anger exploding in me

There was a sudden noise which came from behind me
They were coming, coming
There they are whispered someone
I wanted to run but my legs felt of heavy lead
I could not move

They looked at me
Was it me
I am a normal person
I turned my head
Looking over the five foot metre fence

I wanted to climb over
Why couldn't I
They were walking towards me
Walking closer......
